Free Event #14 San Diego "City Heights Climbing Club" (April 11th 2025)
The City Heights Climbing Club is a program created by our organization to help combat underrepresentation in rock climbing in low-income minority communities around San Diego. This was our clubs first meet up and we had 100% registration and attendance. Together our office, board, and supporters got to spend the night with 12 awesome kids and their families scaling the walls of this world class climbing gym. Together with our partners SD Parks and Recreation, and Mesa Rim Climbing Gyms we provided transportation, gym entry, gear rentals, dinner, and instruction all 100% FREE to the kids and their families.

Our first line of t shirts and totes made their appearance at this event, we held our first fundraising raffle, and overall raised a small amount for our upcoming climbing club project.

While awaiting insurance and permitting to come in for the new 501(c)(3) we didn't waste any time and decided to host this amazing community anchors class. A huge success with over 30 people in attendance. We got to teach a new skill to so many people, as well as build community around the sport of rock climbing and local business.

Our second event in San Diego turned out to be a fantastic day. We brought together over 35 people to climb at one of San Diegos best outdoor climbing areas. Einsteins bagels, Huge raffle, and so many happy faces.

Nicholas (President) helps a attendee to tape up their hands in order to comfortably crack climb. Comfort is key for newer climbers to enjoy themselves properly

These pictures of the prizes with clean patterned backgrounds are pleasing to the eye and really showcase the quality of prizes we are giving away!
At the end of day we all gathered and enjoyed a subway lunch together at the visitor center. Everyone insisted on taking turns for pictures in front of the banner.
Event #6 Arizona Climbing Clinic "The Campground" (January 24th 2023)
To change things up and gain some much needed fundraising money we decided to run a discounted 2 day clinic for those wanting to learn more about set up and anchor building. We kept the number at 3 attendees and provided our classic free raffle as well as free lunch both days. This combined with camping out together created some amazing climbers and some life long friends. All 3 of the attendees went on to get even further into climbing outdoors.
Day one started with learning how to build different anchors safely from the ground. We used anchor replicas to make things as realistic as possible
Day one ended with everyone learning how to properly rappel while using a back up safety device. What goes up must come down....slowly!
On the second day we had extra time to be able to go over traditional gear like cams and stoppers. This shows a high level of appreciation and understanding of the sport
Graduation Day!
